This module explores the major milestones of the indigenous movement on the international stage, with an emphasis on the organizational process of the indigenous peoples of Abya Yala and their main demands, particularly to the United Nations system. Moreover, it highlights the coexistence of human rights and indigenous rights and consolidates knowledge of international instruments on the rights of indigenous peoples.
